Gallons per minute (GPM) is a common unit for the flow of liquids, especially water. It can be used to specify how fast water flows through pumps, showerheads, and pipes. GPM is often abbreviated to gallons per hour, or simply GPH.
Our GPM calculator lets you easily convert between different units of measurement. You can use it to convert liters per minute to gallons per minute, or gallons per minute to cubic meters per minute. Simply enter the value of the first field and choose the unit in the second. Then click “Calculate”. The calculator will automatically convert the expression into the other unit of measurement.
You can also enter any expression you wish to convert. Note that you should only enter integers, and commas are not allowed in any of the fields. For example, to convert from miner’s inches to CFM, enter the number in the first field and select MI in the dropdown menu. Then click “Calculate”. Once the conversion is complete, the result will be displayed in the last box.

To calculate GPM manually, start by measuring the volume of the liquid you want to measure. For a quick test, grab a bucket and time how long it takes to fill it. Then divide the capacity of the container in gallons by the number of seconds it took to fill and multiply by 60. gpm to lpm
