About ET1 Templates
An ET1 is a form that an employee may use to start the process of taking their employer to employment tribunal. It is usually used in cases of unfair or wrongful dismissal or for issues such as discrimination or whistle blowing.
In order to bring a claim to tribunal, the worker (the Claimant) needs to set out their background and details of the case against the employer (the Respondent). This is done on question 8.2 of the ET1 Claim Form or in a separate document called the Particulars of Case.
To help with this process, the system provides a set of ET1 templates that can be used by an admin to create a new email or edit an existing one. These templates contain a wide range of different scenarios and can be very helpful when it comes to drafting a response.
Admins can also customize a number of settings within the ET1 templates including the template name and description, selection of template type, opt-out categories & page, and layout. In addition, the ‘Available to Users’ toggle allows admins to control whether or not the ET1 is an operational email that can be accessed by CSMs in their emails. ET1 Templates
